Robothon 2012

This coming March the conference on type design and technology called Robothon will once again be held in The Hague, The Netherlands. As ever it's being organized by Erik van Blokland and
Paul van der Laan and even though they are both very gifted graphic designers themselves, they asked me to design the logo for this year's conference.

In January the VU-Orkest will be playing a couple two concerts, performing a piece by Richard Straus and one by Béla Bartók.
Right now, I'm putting the final touches on the designs for the poster and the flyer before they get sent off to print. So even though these are not going to hit the streets for another few weeks, this is a tiny little peak.

For the new album by my good friend Dyzack, named "this mangy soul", I designed the packaging. We decided to have it printed on an old letterpress as it fit the warm (yet steely) feel of the music quite well. I couldn't resist getting it all on video and afterwards turning it into a little promo.
The design will feature on in the work section soon, in the mean time enjoy this little film.

The long and short

BOLT likes to come up with clear and strong ways to get information across by visual means.
