ADIDAS soccer
180 Amsterdam was comissioned to come up with the 2007 campaign for the newest editions of the Adidas soccer boots 'Predator' and 'F50'. BOLTgraphics was brought is to do the custom type for the prints ads.
The Predator is a the shoe for the methodical, tactical, technical player whereas the F50 was designed with the more flamboyant, fast and playful player in mind. The concept behind the campaign was based on the idea of these shoes representing two different teams, the punch-line being "Two team,two attitudes, choose your side". This had to be reflected in the type.
Due to time and budget constraints the type was based on two existing type-faces. One being the Flix and the other one the Cuba.
BOLTgraphics supplied custom type in 24 different languages, which next to most European languages also included: Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin and Kantonese), Russian, Japanese and Korean.
