This is a series of poster-size illustrations produced to become part of several different sets in the print campaign for the ADIDAS ClimaCool and ClimaChill clothing lines.
The main message of this campaign was one of ‘uncontrol yourself’ [because these gamrs will keep you cool]. The technology of the clothing boasts extreme heat ventilation and this needed to be portrayed in the both the theme as well as the execution illustrations. The creative driector was after a wheat pasted / screenprinted poster look. And the overall feel needed to be dirty and aggressive.
In total about 30 poster were produced and incorporated into the different assets of the print campaign.
The styles were heavily inspired by 1980′ Japanese pop culture (but the place and era in which drifting originated). The line consisted of t-shirts, stickers, hooded sweaters, key-chains and all the packaging designs.

The concept was based on the idea of there being two types of footballers, flamboyant hot shot types and strategic thinker types. In this campagne these two types were pitted against each other in two different teams. The lettering had reflect this.
The map includes 3 touristic bike routes and has the more architecturally and historically interesting buildings describes on the back.
Client VU Orchestra
This is a poster designed to announce a performance of two classical pieces by the VU Orchestra (The VU is one of the main Universities of Amsterdam). The themes of the pieces are represented in the graphic forms and typography, echoing a style of the time in which these musical pieces were written.

Branding and advertising (print and narrowcast tv) for the 2009 edition of State-X New Forms, an alternative electronic music festival.
The concept was to try to portray the jarring combination of cold electronics and raw human emotion, which is something that seemed to connect most of the acts playing the festival. The organic versus the mechanical.
Next to a wide line of print items there were also t-shirts and a narrow-cast video (to be broadcast in the trams around the city) were produced.
Branding and advertising for an exhibit on the use of wheels in the urban environment put on by Arcam, (Amsterdam Center for Architecture).
Stad op Wieltjes translates into “City on Wheels”.
